I know that in the nintendo wii package you get 5 games that come in a cd. I also know that you can download games on the internet from your wii. I want to know if you can get other sports games besides: golf, baseball, tennis, bowling, and boxing! T-Luv replied: "mario party!!!!!!!!!!!"
mgthomas0 replied: "Madden NFL 07 is coming out on the Wii with special Wii controls.
Super Swing Golf is also a launch title.
I am sure there will be more in a few months, but it seems those are the 2 main Wii sports games." My wii remote wont pick up when i play golf or bowling or any other wii sport? My wii romote doesn`t doesn`t do anything when i play games. Like when i play golf, i swing it but it doesn`t move but it shows a hand when i do anything else James20 replied: "You should try re connecting the remote by opening the battery compartment in the back and the SD card slot and press the 2 red buttons together. It could also be the battery is low or your wii receiver is not close enough. I hope this helps!"
conman255 replied: "All you have to do is toss it through your television and call it a day..."
benjua182100 replied: "Do what James20 said or do the reconnect thing with a different remote. If nothing else works make sure your sensor bar is plugged in correctly. Call Nintendo if nothing else works!"
Jonathan J replied: "I ran into some crazy issue playing wii sports where i could only use one Wii-mote after a period of time. I thought my battery was dead, it wasn't. I tried re-syncing my remote, but it would turn off immediately. I changed the batteries, but nothing different happened.
I went to the Wii menu to find both remotes were working fine. Frustrated I powered down the Wii completely and tried again. I haven't had problems since so far..." Is there Cheats or Hints for the Wii Sport? I want to know if there are Cheats or Hints for the Wii. Like gain skill points easyer somehow.??? Hope I get awsers soon! KyledKat replied: "No, just little easter eggs.
You can change the color of the courts in Tennis, the ball in Bowling, and a way to knock all the pins down in the final level of that one bowling training...
"
Richie replied: "I honestly dont think there are any cheats other then changing to bowling ball a different color. Wii sports is all about how much you play and how good your fitness age is."
purple_flying_kittens replied: "Nup Nothing that you've mentioned in your question.
You can make all the pins go down on the last shot in Power Throws training activity for the bowling. All you have to do is go to the far right hand corner or the left and go as far as you can. Then you have to do the bowl as usual, only keep it as straight as possible so that if it goes all the way to the end of the lane on top of the pillar, the ball will go down into the place where all the pins go and blow up. This will make all the pins get knocked down"
beach-crab-lord replied: "to change the color of the bowling ball:
control pad up:blue ball
control pad down:green ball
left side:gold
right side:black"
Luigi Time! replied: "in tennis, when it's loading, hold 1 and 2 and you will have a blue court(like in training mode
In bowling, hold up on the control pad to get blue, down to get gold, and try the other two sides" Nintendo Wii Sport Boxing bag training high scores+tips ? Just wondering for all you Wii lovers out there, the original Wii Sport.. when you go to training and you click the first boxing one (its boxing bag) what is the highest scores you've gotten, and has anyone gotten gold or silver ? My high score is 25 and Ive only ever gotten it once, the next closest i came to it was 21. My medal is still a bronze :o & im wondering about everyone elses high score, there medal, and any tips game_informer52 replied: "my highest is like 40 or something i gotten the highest medal there is i don't remeber if there was a platnuim or not but i got the highest it's really easy just go fast and don't forget to lean to"
James B replied: "Ive gotten 26 or so. Some great tips are that you shouldn't just drum the wiimotes rapidly. On those old, beat-up and really easy to punch down bags, aim the remote or nunchuck to the side, forcing the player to punch from the side. Or thrust the remotes up to do an upper-cut for easy knock-down." Where can I get a new Nintendo Wii Sport before Xmas for my boys? Are there any in the country? Jo? Everywhere seems to be sold out already. Any help gratefully received! bendi1 replied: "i am having the same problem if you go onto Wii stock they will send you email when some come into stock but I wouldnt get your hopes up as I have had emails then tried to order and theres no stock left!"
Coach replied: "go to your local retailer and ask them if you can order one through them.
a company like gamestop will generally do that for you."
Emma replied: "There are none in stock at the moment, you can get one off ebay or just wait Nintendo are holding stock so they will get a big hype this just before xmas, i've 2 this year already as gifts but i need another i should have known this would happen as they do it with everything but im not woriied i know i will get one before xmas!"
SALLY replied: "Ebay is the only place when i checked yesterday but beware there are lots of bidders and you might pay over the odds."
uugamemaster replied: "I played this game back in Feb. First off if you buy the Wii at a store it comes with the system Wii sports and ONE controller. I can't remember if it came with a numbchuck or not. Just one controller will do if all you want to do is play against the computer or bowling. Since you said boys in your question the I would suggest buying a second controller and a pair of numbchucks. For a second controller I would suggest buying Wii play. It a set of 9 mini games and it come with a controller. You should be able to find everything but the system now at just about any game/super store. As far as getting the system goes you have two options. First play the phone tag game and call EVERY store in the surrounding area and ask if they have any in stock. Don't forget to try the electronics stores as well.(I got mine at a Circuit City). I you chose to do this be sure to include stores within a reasonable driving distance. If you live in a bigger city try check some of the smaller stores that are out a ways out because they tend to have some in stock. The other more reliable method is to buy a bundle pack through a online store such as eb games. They will tell you when it will ship to you. I hope this helps. Note that you want to get any accessories now before the x-mas rush starts if they don't come in the bundle pack."
rkolegends replied: "i got mine from gamestation i was lucky to go get one just keep looking around or just pre order one"
debbs replied: "www.wii-consoles.co.uk"
truro01 replied: "hi....same here : ( been trying for 5 weeks to get one....am on every email list and phone list and no luck yet.....hopefully nintendo will get there a**e in to gear..."
itoshi_li replied: "Where are you located? In the US check Sunday retail ads on Saturday night. If a store advertises Wii then go to that store before they open Sunday morning (at least 30 minutes early) and wait with the other folks to purchase a Wii. If you are there early enough you will also be able to purchase additional controllers before they run out."
Paul V replied: "I found one online using a wii finder. But their really getting scarce as christmas gets closer. Good luck."
R R replied: "you can get one sent now but you have to pay extra"
Nite replied: "Search around this site ... ..."
jaredmach1 replied: "I work for Target, and run their electronics department. I can tell you, it's not going to be easy, but here's some advice. First off, 90% of the time we don't know when a wii shipment is going to come in. But there are a few times we do know, so ask if they know when one is coming, but be patient if they tell you they don't know. Second, company policy (as with most retailers right now) is we can not hold a wii. Also, some people have said get a rain check, but to clear something up, a rain check only promises a price on something at a later date when you might find it in stock, it does not promise you the item. Since the wii doesn't go on sale, this is kinda a useless thing. So the best advice I can give, ask these questions every chance you can:
Do you have any wii's? Do you know of any dates for shipments? When do you usually get deliveries? (usually they show up via ups, and not the overnight truck, so they might not have it when they open, but may have some later in the day)
Also, if you aren't too far, or drive by, stop in to ask, since they can't hold one if you call, you're best bet is to be there in person so if it is there you can get it right away. Hope this helps
On a side note, we got in 57 Wii's for this morning, and sold out by 10am. (open at 8am)"
Neuromancer replied: "If you are in the UK / Europe, this website:.... has been linking to various UK suppliers with the Nintendo Wii console IN STOCK since it's release. (I've successfully ordered one myself & 2 for friends)" How do you get strikes all the way on wii sport? how do you get strikes all the way i can;t The Nerd replied: "When you select Wii Bowling and get to the part to select the angle you wish to bowl from, lightly tap "right" on the control pad of the Wiimote so it moves one notch across and then bowl as hard as you can. Most of the time it will knock down all of the pins."
phill.serb replied: "Well there is no easy way since everyone does it differently.
I'd think you would most likely have to just gently swing it and see how it goes, it should just hit all the pins down and you should get around 80% of the Bowling Pins down.
What I do is I go and hold the "B" button all the way through and actually swing my hand over my head when I bowl! Trust me you will always end up with strike, and if unlucky a spare.
Try that and give it a go, see how it works.
Phil." What is your skill points for every sport on Wii Sports? I want to see how mine is compared to the rest of the world. So, here it is:
Tennis: 2088
Baseball: 937
Bowling: 1038
Golf: 1058
Boxing: 637
Also, you can comment on my skill points if you want.
Who ever gets the highest average gets best answer!
Thanx alicealicemicrowave! i spent about 9 hours just to have over 2000 skill points. but now i only play about once every week. (tennis) alicealicemicrowave replied: "People are probably going to lie so they can get best answer.
I've only had my Wii for a month
Tennis: 1506
Baseball: 912
Bowling: 1012
Golf: 853
Boxing: 763
Your scores are pretty impressive."
Chippy replied: "pro on boxing tennis and baseball"
colin replied: "I've had my wii for over a year, so I barely ever play wii sports anymore, but here are my scores anyway:
Tennis:1893
Baseball:733(I never really played baseball that much)
Bowling:1251
Golf: 513(I suck at golf)
Boxing:568(I never really liked boxing that much...)
Your scores are very good.
Out of all the sports on wii sports, tennis was easily my favorite because that was the game I was best at, but the best com you can play against has a skill level of 2000 and that com is too easy, so it got boring to continually play and beat that com, so I stopped playing tennis." Can Wii sports let you learn the real sport? If yes then I'm happy please tell the truth ok. dontmypen replied: "no i dont think so, but its fun, get it anyway.. wii-sport just feels more lively compared to other video games it feels likes ur actually bowling or hitting a tennis ball or playing golf"
Mario R replied: "It can teach you some of the game but not all of it. By playing Wii Sports i learned the rules of golf and how points are gained. I also learned what a foul was in baseball. I also learned a couple things in tennis."
Miss Elisha replied: "wii sports is great fun especailly when your friends and family are playing with you!
im great at bowling on wii sports but i cant play bowling at all in real life i need bumpers and everything
so no i dont think it would teach you but its worth getting anyway."
m_droid replied: "The basics yes, but the sports go so much more in depth than the game. Fir instance, with Wii Tennis all you have to do is to swing, basically. In real tennis there are different sorts of hits (backhands, volleys etc.). It won't go too in depth.
Same with Wii Golf. In real golf you have to concentrate a lot more than on Wii Golf. Wii Golf is incredibly easier than real golf. The fact that you barely feel the pressure and your swings don't have to be as strong on Wii Golf." what is the easiest wii game for a special needs child besides wii fitt and wii sport? my grandaughter has c.p. and aspergers and gets very easily frustrated .we just got her alvin and the chipmonks and that caused a major meltdown1suggestions welcomed.nancy cindy m replied: "I think the wii sport. Wii fit is good, but you have to do all areas of the game to unlock the games that are more fun. The wii sport has some real easy games on it."
wee_crazy_chick replied: "wii play is quite fun. but it can get frustrating.
mario kart is a good game is she plays by herself and sets the computer to easy as then the cars will not hit you with items (part of the game)
thats all i can think of so far. good luck
xx"
-Prodigy Gamer- replied: "Mario Kart Wii"
